Legend of Tea
There are many legends and myths concerning the origin of tea.The best known account of their origin dates back to 5000 years ago in China during the reign of Emperor Sheng Nong , a just ruler and competent lover of arts and sciences and known as the Divine Healer . The Emperor , concerned with the epidemics that ravaged the Middle Kingdom , decreed an edict that required all people to boil water before consuming.
One day , when the governor walked by Chinese gardens , called on its servers that you boil water,while resting under the shade of a tree.
While waiting for the water cooled , some leaves coming from a bush fell into his cup, giving water a brownish tint.The Emperor decided to prove, surprising himselfwith the pleasant tast.
From this moment he was adept at tea , inducing its taste to its people.
